VARIETY
Grape variety coming from the Bordeaux region that has found diffusion in different parts of the world. Its appearance in Italy is almost contemporaneous with that of Cabernet Franc.

Clayey, silty and slightly alkaline.

VINIFICATION 
Maceration for 25-30 days with a controlled temperature of 24 ° / 28 °. Pumping over with oxygen grafting and soft pressing. As these are tannic and full-bodied wines, the refinement is carried out with a micro-oxygenator to make the wine softer and more elegant.

ALCOHOL CONTENT: about 13.00% vol.

REDUCING SUGARS: 3.50 - 4.50 g / l

TOTAL ACIDITY > 5.00 g / l

It is certainly an excellent wine, with an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections when young, tending to garnet with aging. Obtained in purity after a long fermentation, it gives enveloping aromas of raspberry and black cherry. Persuasive, vinous and slightly herbaceous on the nose. As it matures it takes on finesse, delicacy and harmony, and acquires subtle notes of violet.
