VARIETY
Merlot, like many other grape varieties, has its origins in France in the Bordeaux area. The first news of its introduction in Italy dates back to after the first half of the 19th century. 

GROUND
Clayey, silty and slightly alkaline.

VINIFICATION 
Maceration for 25-30 days with a controlled temperature of 24 ° / 28 °. Pumping over with oxygen grafting and soft pressing. As these are tannic and full-bodied wines, the refinement is carried out with a micro-oxygenator to make the wine softer and more elegant.

ALCOHOL CONTENT: about 13.00% vol.

REDUCING SUGARS: 3.50 - 4.50 g / l

TOTAL ACIDITY > 5.00 g / l

Full and robust wine, characterized by an intense vinous fragrance and a herbaceous scent, it also gives fruity aromatic points, mainly cherry and black currant. Its intense ruby red color tends to garnet with maturation and aging. Over time it refines considerably, acquiring a pleasant bouquet and taking on a dry, harmonious and balanced flavor.
