Esse mignon

This delicious biscuit was born more than two centuries ago when at the time, in the colorful houses of the island of #Burano, the housewives prepared sweets for their families with their own hands.

The Esse was conceived as an alternative to the traditional Bussolà.
Its undulating composition refers to the shape of the "Grand Canal" that winds its way through #Venice, from Punta della Dogana to Piazzale Roma.

☕ We recommend that you enjoy your biscuit by soaking it in a good glass of raisin wine (Verduzzo or Recioto) or accompanying it with an excellent mascarpone cream.
